To take a passport photo in Photoshop, first of all, we will need a file with a front-facing image of a person.
Now we create a file with dimensions 10x15 cm and a resolution of 150 pixels per inch - <wild>File-New</wild>File-New.
We return to our previous file, take the <wild>Crop</wild>Crop tool, and adapt the parameters you need, i.e., for a 3x4 format photo, we adapt <wild>Width</wild>Width - 3 cm, <wild>Height</wild>Height - 4 cm.
And most importantly - do not authorize to set the <wild>Resolution 150 Pixel/Inch</wild>Resolution 150 Pixels/Inch so that the resolution of the original and the created file is the same.
After performing the operation with the <wild>Crop</wild>Crop tool, drag the image onto the next file with the 10x15 layout.
Next, press Alt and, while holding the button, clone the image as many times as you need. Usually, a 10x15 sheet fits 6 photos of the 3x4 format.
Turn off the visibility of the <wild>Background</wild>Background layer by clicking on the eye icon to the left of the layer.
Now press <wild>Layer-Merge Visible</wild>Layer-Merge Visible to merge the visible layers. After applying the previous action, we should have two left - the background and the layer with the 3x4 format images.
With the Ctrl or Shift key pressed, select both layers, go to the <wild>Layer-Align-Horizontal Centers</wild>Layer-Align-Horizontal Centers and <wild>Layer-Align-Vertical Centers</wild>Layer-Align-Vertical Centers menus to align the layers horizontally and vertically, respectively.
Now, if we need a stroke for cutting out the photos along the contour, we do the following:
Select the top layer with the images, go to the <wild>Edit-Stroke</wild>Edit-Stroke menu, and set the required color and stroke size.
That's basically it, you can press print <wild>File-Print</wild>File-Print, set the settings on your printer, and execute the result.
This tutorial provides only 1 example - creating the 3x4 format. However, if you need to constantly make passport photos, you can use an action to format a 10 cm by 15 cm sheet with the following formats: 3x4; 3.5x4; 3.5x4.5; 3.5x4.5 with feathering; 4x5; 4x6; 5x5
