JoomShopping - Creating an Online Store on Joomla CMS

One of the best in this regard is rightfully considered the extension called JoomShopping. Let’s go through the main features of this component together.

Installing JoomShopping works like any other Joomla extension via the Extension Manager. In the component settings, you can see all the necessary parameters you’ll need to set up a full-fledged store on your website. These include:

Each of these sections contains additional data and options. All of them are conveniently organized into tabs for easy access.

The process of entering data into the component is very simple: you define the categories you want on your site, then add products to them, and in the products you specify characteristics such as weight, dimensions, shipping and payment, cost, and so on.

In the "Orders" and "Customers" tabs, you can accept or decline orders and their final cost, as well as view complete information about them.

During the checkout process on your website, there will be several fields to fill out (you can also set these up in the JoomShopping component parameters).

If your website uses a currency different from the one set by default in the system, you can also change it—though this is done in an unusual way by manually entering the exchange rate, which is not very convenient. However, I think the developers will fix this shortcoming soon.
