How to create a chilling portrait of a girl on Halloween

Step 1 – Select a model
This picture would be wonderful for this.

Step 2 – resize
To do this, go to the Image -> Image size (Image-Size image), or press (Alt+Ctrl+I). Reduce photos to the size: width:837 X height: 1300 pixels and press ok.

Step 3 – Selection models
Use the Lasso tool (Lasso) to select the model.

Step 4 – Duplicate the layer
To duplicate a selection, press Ctrl + J. you can Also press the right mouse button on selection and choose Layer via copy (Layer via copy).

Step 5 – Less saturation
Again duplicate the layer (Ctrl + J). On this layer reduce the saturation (Ctrl + U) in paragraph Saturation: -100.

Step 6 – set the layer blending mode to Soft light (Soft light)
To make the layer more contrast, reduce its opacity to -50 and set the blending mode to Soft light (Soft light).

Step 7 – Leather
Use Lasso tool (Lasso) to select the skin model and duplicate layer (Ctrl +J).

Step 8 – Reducing the saturation
Hit Ctrl + U. Or go to Image -> Adjustments -> Hue/ Saturation (Image-Settings-hue/Saturation). In the option Saturation reduce the value to -50.

Step 9 – Multiplication
Duplicate the layer again, but one that has reduced saturation. Now change the mode to Multiply (Multiplication).

Step 10 – Mix the layers

Press Ctrl+T and reduce the size of the skull to the desired settings until it fit the model’s face. You can also reduce the opacity of the layer with the skull.

Step 14 – deleting parts you don’t need
Leave only the “eye” (eye) of the skull, erase the rest using eraser.

Step 15 – Create the other eye
Duplicate the layer (Ctrl+J) to make 1 eye, and change the size (Ctrl+T).

Connect the layer with the first. Continue free transformation until you get a good result.

Go to the main layer with the model and duplicate it (Ctrl+J). Adjust the color by pressing (Ctrl + U) or go to Image – Adjustments – Hue/ Saturation. Change the tone by 233 to get fioletowy tone. Then click ok to save the changes.

Step 23 – Adjust the opacity of the layer
Reduce the opacity of the layer to 40% to achieve the result.

Step 24 – Another layer
Duplicate the layer (Ctrl+J) and change the color (Ctrl+U) or Image – Adjustment – Hue/ Saturation. In the option Hue (Tone) set 200. You must be in mode colorize (colors). Persistent action.
